Reducing picosulphate

I can’t for the life of me figure out if she is over medicated or under medicated and it feels like we are heading back to daily accidents which I thought we’d left behind. We started reducing as she was having accidents at the end of the day and reduced on advice of incontinence nurses.

Long term toilet training methods & success stories?

He tends to have little wee accidents before going for a wee too but doesn’t fully wet himself. He is on daily movicol and we disimpacted at the start.

Accidents at school

My 4 year old recently started school and has been having 1 or 2 accidents most days though he did have one day this week with no accidents.

Paediatric appointment coming up

He has been on movicol over a year, in the summer we disimpacted then did maintenance dose but continued to get wee and poo accidents including at school. Recently we actually reduced his dose and now he’s only on 1/2 sachet every other day and have seen some improvement.

Looking for support

My husband and I are really struggling with it all because he is very good at home and rarely has accidents. Nursery always said he soiled because he didn't want to stop what he was doing to use the toilet and HV agreed. Now we're worried something else is at play.

Why me?

So I’ve just watched Ambulance: Code Red on channel 5 and quite a lot of accidents that resulted in brain injury were featured on it.. it made me realise what the ambulance did for me on the night of my haemorrhage, and could relate to the brain injured people… only these people were involved in ACCIDENTS

Any suggestions on how to help a 4 year old use the toilet in school, when he refuses to if he is not with his parents ?

So when he is at home with us he never has accidents, and often when he is with us out and about he 70% of the time won’t have accidents and will use the potty / go on a tree / or use a toilet.

3 year old soiling and wetting

We have been giving her moivcol to help soften them up but we have found now she is having poo and pee accidents all the time simultaneously ( the poos are smears or very small amounts of poo).

So impressed and relieved we have finally got somewhere with a poo !!

We did a bit of research and have found that 1 sachet of nutrigen inulin and a 5ml of lactulose for the last month, have now produced frequent solid poos, little one is much happier and we have no accidents at school.

4 year old struggling with constipation,

I really want her to do well at school with no accidents as she is so shy and timid this will just set her back. Are suppositories for children a good idea to remove the build up? Any ideas, suggestions are more than welcome

Strategies to stop withholding

About 3 months ago he started having lots of leaky urine accidents in his pants so I just knew the constipation was back. If we clear the blockage, the wee accidents stop… and it worked. However, the poo in the pants issue hasn’t stopped. We have done 3 movicol clear outs in the last 6 weeks.

My little boy keeps having accidents in school?

When he first started school he had no problems at all using the toilet but as we've moved on into the new year he's started having accidents in school and point blank refuses to use the toilet!

Potty training regression

My just turned 3 year old started potty training November last year and had got it by Xmas with hardly any accidents. The last month has been like she has completely regressed, she doesn't make it in time to wee or holds it too long and can have 5 accidents a day.

Potty Training 4 Year old Wee Accidents Constantly

Was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to help my son stop having so much wee accidents? He has been on and off trained for nearly a year. Dry at night before we started toilet training and always pops in toilet. He just keeps having wee accidents and is not fussed in any way about it!

10 km walk

Couple of fatal accidents in a week here , cars going far too fast with rain overnight and cold this morning. Back to a hot shower and hot porridge. Enjoy your weekend and your runs.
