I spoke to the nurse at school and warned her about possible future accidents. His doctor has never found anything wrong with him in the past. What is the best way I can help my son?

If you catch him he will do it on the toilet but it’s like he just stops pushing and because of this he can do lots of little poos and have accidents. I’ve taken him to GP about constipation he doesn’t think it’s that just withholding.

She is having accidents 16 times minimum a day. The constant liquid stool has been happening for as long as we can remember and she hasn’t passed a ‘typical’ stool since September 2022. We are at a loss as to what to do!

I saw the doctor who gave me a fit test which came back “normal no action to be taken” so now I don’t know what to do or think I have had a couple of accidents while out and now I’m so scared to go very far it’s so upsetting I don’t know what to try next.

My son has struggled with bowel movement since potty training.. at pre school we had accidents daily with him saying he's too busy to go to the toilet. Wees no problem.

I had two days of embarrassing accidents. Trying to stop that thank you in advance for your input!

Hi, My 7 year old daughter has recently been prescribed movicol to help with constipation and overflow which has been causing her to have accidents. For the last week she has been on 3 sachets a day and in the last few days has been soiling herself numerous times a day.

Since being on movicol, he has more poo accidents than he ever had and his wee accidents are just the same, so it's like he is doubly incontinent now.

I had a 'breakdown' in work in front of him where I went into humiliating detail about how it affects me (public accidents, bowel issues, incredible pain). He then said it was fine, and he would 'tell people where to go' if they asked.

She's now having accidents when sneezing or coughing of very light watery poo. Perhaps she wasn't impacted. Any advice? Is thi fresh poo? She's eating well.

At the start of December we had no accidents (first time in months) and I thought we had cracked it. Unfortunately since then the soiling has gradually crept back up. We are now back up to 7 accidents per week!

Nearly 6 y old son who is having issues with faecal soiling and wet accidents. Has been on Movicol for 3 years - several disimpactions with the most recent in December. Best success yet having got up to 12 sachets and brown water.

It seemed to work with regard to making his stools smaller, but he still has accidents 3-4 times a week and still has no sensation of doing it.

Hi all. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced increased bowel frequency - 3 to 5 times a day, but not diarrhoea - as a possible side-effect of long-term Apixoban use. I have AF, and my cardio specialist says it has been reported to him occasionally, mainly by women. (I'm a 77-year old male.

Was given these drugs for along time to stabilise my 24/7 pain caused by fibromyalgia.These drugs have altered my life in a terrible long lasting way. Hi all - how do folk manage the constipation? I swing between Diarrhoea during flare ups to constipation the rest of the time. I take codeine/cocodamol so the constipation gets worse 😭 how do you manage this? I drink lots of water and eat plenty fibre and nothing helps
