Hi Guys,
Looking to become more of a regular contributor, bit of my history, 48 going on 49 this October, Male with a history of PAF and inverted T-Wave (which EP advised it's not sinister, seems to be just my signature). Had my first AF bout in 1997 (23 years old), throughout that time I've been on Sotolol then moved to Propafenone, then Flec and Bisoprolol combination from 2007 onwards. I have been historically chem converted with Flec in the past before going on Flec on perm basis. In 2010 I had a Cardiac MRI to rule out Myopathy and they discovered that my left diaphragm was paralysed and my heart is displaced medially and it's edging over the right of my chest. People used to say I was a nice guy and my heart is in the right place, little did I know how wrong they all were I've handled a good amount of AF attacks at home and it's not nice, sometimes what's worse is the 'teasers' of making you think you are going into AF, those little 'flicks or runs', extra beats and puts you on alert. Had another Echo (last one was 10 years ago) and at first she couldn't find my heart, she ended up pressing just to the right of my sternum to find it. Big shout out to all my fellow sufferers, I know how everyone feels, been in the thick of it, just wanted to say Hi
