Have all the symptoms of IBS but is it something else?
I have had what I would call a successful ileostomy since 1968 which cured 4 years of misery with ulcerative colitis. I could eat everything, just not ridiculous amounts of hard to-digest-fruits and veggies which have cause several painful blockages over the years (scar tissue or gluttony?) At ER I

How to help child withholding poo
My son withholds his poo. Its been nearly a year since he has been dry on the toilet training front. He wears a nappy for bed as we've not yet tackled night time training because of his poo issues. He will occasionally do it in his nappy if we don't catch him in time. Even as a baby he would not poo

Deja vu or something else?
Hi. I know you can't specifically 'diagnose ' or medically advise but I was wondering if you experience anything like this and if you know what it is. I can't get my doctor to take it seriously. I have a tbi that I got after a car crash in January 2007. I suffered a diffuse axon injury to my right

TIRED AND FED UP
Feeling quite desperate with everything. BAD/BAM disorder is destroying me. My enjoyment of food is always short lived. Am thinking I may have another undiagnosed issue- there is no indication as such re gallstones, but I keep thinking that. My stomach is bloating out hurting. Still dont know if I have

Embryo thawing
Hi Lovely ladies, hope you are having a good day. I am thinking about the thawing of my embryo on the day of my FET. A friend of mine just told me she lost 2 embryos during the thawing process and I am very worried. I know the successful rates are high but i can't stop thinking about it. Everything stresses

Distress and agitation
My brother was diagnosed July 2018 with PSP - probable onset around 2014, definite signs 2016. He is now in residential care but has never come to terms with diagnosis : knows but is very very restless, hates the loss of independence, rails against whatever takes his attention at a given moment and

Week three. Run one.
Ater trying to avoid the poor weather last week and winding myself up in the process I've decided I'm going out no matter what so that I have some structure to the plan instead of chopping and changing days. I was relatively lucky today having stepped out just as the rain stopped, but it was hard going

Moviprep
Got a colonoscopy on Friday as mentioned in another post and the dreaded prep is tomorrow. Iβve had many of these procedures before (had bowel cancer) but always had picolax. This time Iβve been given moviprep for the so called preparation. On reading the side effects it mentions arrhythmias can occur

Habits shape our lives, you are who you are because of habits, they are consistent unconscious vital patterns in our lives. For those who sustained

I need gin πΈπΈπΈ
Started cramping and bleeding on Wednesday which was 10dp3dt. Continued bleeding yesterday and tested today with our BFN, we expected it but I guess there is always a bit of hope. Think we need some time now away to try to get our lives back to normal, then we'll reassess. Got a meeting with our specialist

Advice about 4 year old
If we are
at
home
we could deal with
accidents
but when out and about it wasnt so easy so we reverted to putting her in one of her night nappies if we were away from home.
