We are what we repeatedly do hence excellence is a habit said Aristotle. Habits shape our lives, you are who you are because of habits, they are consistent unconscious vital patterns in our lives. Is it like cbt? You change your beliefs and then you act differently?

Not Cbt as such- sufferers have no control of what has hit them.

I mean bad habits like reclusivess, selfishness, over eating, murstabation and that

That’s still behaviours and people can have some control over their behaviour. But I guess some of them it hard to stop because you got no control over the excessive one, inhibitors.

After careful consideration that’s a difficult one. However in a functional society people need to refrain from what is considered a bad habit or undergo some rehab, similarly a society can not tolerate a thief because it’s habit. Action is taken accordingly

It’s still a difficult one, the best thing is to exclude bad habits as a result of health complications
