Period lasting for six weeks
Hi everyone. I'm new here, and concerned about how long my periods are lasting. I'm now 20. When I was 17, I was put on Cerelle (the mini pill), to help prevent migraines before my period. I cannot take the regular combined pill because I get migraines. For the first 18 months or so, it worked wonders

Irregular periods
Hi, All my life I have had very irregular periods and very painful ones. However they aren't very heavy and I never have spotting of bleeding in between periods. I had a day 21 ovulation test years ago when I started my fertility investigations which came back as normal that I did ovulate. But recently

Awaiting an ultrasound and laparoscopy...strange lower left side pain with sciatica.
Hi all, I'm new here and found reading your posts very helpful! I've suffered from painful periods since they began 20 years ago (I'm now 32). I've more recently been experiencing excruciating pain in my lower abdomen on the first three days of my period where I have almost blacked out and been sick

Heavy periods
Hi wondering anybody can share their experiences with me. I've been having very heavy periods for many years now as I get nearer to the menopause and it's left me anaemic. Can anyone give me an idea of how long they experienced these heavy periods for roughly before they hit menopause finally? I know

Double dose of mini pill
Hi, i have stage 4 endo. Found out about 7 years ago. I had a daughter naturally, and then I found out my tubes were blocked and my insides are a mess. Anyway, I had my son through ivf and then prescribed the mini pill micronor. This was all good and I was breastfeeding. As soon as I stopped breastfeeding

Periods age and smears
Hi, I'm 48 so perimenopause periods every three weeks ish so not reliable. Had a full normal well for me heavy 7 day period which stopped in time for my smear test. Had the smear then started with brown blood a then a full on heavy period again!!! Just worrying myself silly. Just wish it would stop.

Your opinin?
Hi I'm new here, I realised I can't get a diagnosis from an online forum but just want to gather some opinions from people with experience. I have always had fairly painful periods but is something that has worsened with age. I have no diagnosis of endo but haven't really tried for one only once saw

Heavy, painful periods, lower abdominal pain, lower backache, pelvic pain?
Hi, I'm 17 and I am on a waiting list at the moment to see a gynecologist as I have suspected endometriosis. A lot of people don't take endometriosis serious enough and probably don't even realise that they might have it themselves. As I'm a teenager my self, I understand girls my age being embarrassed

Struggling to conceive
Hi everyone, I'm 29, have had endometriosis for years and had 2 laps in the past before having the Mirena coil fitted during the last one. This was removed a year ago (after 3-4yrs) and we've been trying to conceive since but to be honest I'm really struggling to cope. The coil was great for me, my periods

Extreme period pain
Hi. I'm currently having my first period since my lap 5 weeks ago. Does anyone know if it's normal to be so painful and heavy. I could cry it so painful and no pain killers are touching the pain.

Endometriosis?
Hi all I'm new here and feel a bit daft posting because I haven't actually got an endometriosis diagnosis. I just want to know what people on here think about my symptoms, as a doctor has suggested that I might have endometriosis and it's never something I've really considered because my periods are

New member - undergoing investigation
Hello ladies. First post. I'm a 35yr old, have 2 kids 7 & 4. I had heavy periods as a teenager that settled but after my 2nd child my periods have become increasingly heavier. I've always had cramps but up until about a year ago, a bad day required 2 paracetamol. All that has changed! The pain is ridiculous
