Disappointed and frustrated with doctors and Progesterone for heavy periods?
I went to see a London Endo Professor a few days ago as a second follow up appointment. He was the on the TUK list but response I got from him was largely disappointing. I think he's cautious to recommend any thyroid treatment because he thinks it won't produce enough benefit. Other than high cortisol

Short period, first time ever!
Hi everyone, I've had endometriosis for over 20 years and have always suffered long heavy periods, with pain intensifying from ovulation to menstruation. It's weird and I should be greatful but I literally have just bled not so heavily for two days and now it's tailed off. The build up from ovulation

Sudden irregular periods
Hi, I have been suffering from endo for about 6 years, only diagnosed last year. However, throughout that whole time my periods have been regular like clockwork. Every 28 days. Last month my period was 3 days late, which never happens! And I've just started bleeding again 2 weeks after that. Has this

Latest blood results as requested
Shaws and anyone else I've tried to add all 4 pages. I hope you can zoom in and see the results ok. All from November 2016. The sodium was tested a week later with medicheck and went up to 138. Is it worth doing a saliva cortisol test? If there's not treatment for adrenal fatigue any point in it?

Heavy periods
Hi I've now been taking levo thyroxine for nearly 6 weeks and was hoping to get less heavy periods. Instead they tend to start a week earlier with spotting and I have a huge build up of stomach cramps. Then still really heavy & can't go out first 2 days. Maybe I need to wait until I've been on the medication

First period after lap!
I started bleeding yesterday and have severe period pain. This is my first one since they operated and found endo. Is it supposed to be this painful?! I went to the doctors and she gave me some really strong pain killers 🙁 I'm reluctant to take them as I'm worried they will make me sleepy. Apart from

Could this be endo? Bleeding almost constantly!
Hi everyone. I'm 20 years old and from the UK. When I was 17, I was put on Cerelle (the mini pill) to help prevent severe migraines before my period. I cannot take the combined pill because I'm a migraine sufferer (have been since childhood, but they got a lot worse before my period). For the first 18

Period lasting for six weeks
Hi everyone. I'm new here, and concerned about how long my periods are lasting. I'm now 20. When I was 17, I was put on Cerelle (the mini pill), to help prevent migraines before my period. I cannot take the regular combined pill because I get migraines. For the first 18 months or so, it worked wonders

Irregular periods
Hi, All my life I have had very irregular periods and very painful ones. However they aren't very heavy and I never have spotting of bleeding in between periods. I had a day 21 ovulation test years ago when I started my fertility investigations which came back as normal that I did ovulate. But recently

Awaiting an ultrasound and laparoscopy...strange lower left side pain with sciatica.
Hi all, I'm new here and found reading your posts very helpful! I've suffered from painful periods since they began 20 years ago (I'm now 32). I've more recently been experiencing excruciating pain in my lower abdomen on the first three days of my period where I have almost blacked out and been sick

Heavy periods
Hi wondering anybody can share their experiences with me. I've been having very heavy periods for many years now as I get nearer to the menopause and it's left me anaemic. Can anyone give me an idea of how long they experienced these heavy periods for roughly before they hit menopause finally? I know
