Northisterone

Morning hope everyone safe and well I have been taking Northisterone for 2 years without a break due to very heavy bleeding due to fibroids I am 56 and been suffering for 25 years. I’ve had them removed burnt out and only now do they suggest a hysterectomy I am not menopausal yet but just wanted to ask about the northisterone more than anything if anyone had taken it for this period off time

Was on Norethisterone for 3/4 months but then on Provera for 18 months my main problem was Endo and small fibroids. I decided against a hysterectomy as being in my 50s thought that I would have the menopause soon. It happened when I was 58. Its a difficult call to make as you waited so long, I am sure you will make the right decision for you. Good luck and take care.

I'm on northisterone due to irregular periods the GP stopped it then I had heavy period for 3 weeks I'm back on northisterone and no bleeding at all
