Anyone experiencing stomach pains after the hysterectomy?
Hi ladies. My mother experiences terrible stomach pains for hours at a time ever since her hysterectomy. It’s occurs about 8-10 a year. We’ve talked to doctors but they don’t seem to have an answer for her. Is anyone else going through this?

My Wife’s story to help others. (Fibroids)
My Amazing Wife’s story I just wanted to tell my story in the hope that it might help someone in a similar position. I am 41 years old and I found a lump/ hardness in the lower, left hand side of my pelvis. The lump would move lightly at different times of the day and sometimes I couldn’t feel it at

Operation planned
I don’t comment a lot but I read many of your messages and questions and feel for you all. It’s a horrible journey to be on and I’ve previously been told I had IBS, low pain threshold (definitely not) and imaginary pain. It actually took a nurse to say to me when I came back for another suspected urine

My initial right-breast cancer appeared (grew very quickly to the size of a grapefruit) in 1992. I had 6 courses of chemo, very extensive mastectomy, 34 radiation, then 6 more chemo. I was clear of what all doctors said would be terminal. Had lots of physical therapy and crying. 24 years later, in 2016

Uterosacral Ligaments
Hi ladies Does anyone have any advice on deep infiltrating endo on the uterosacral ligaments? I've had 3 surgeries over 20 years; in summary - ablation in 2002, ovaries removed in 2015 and then full hysterectomy in 2017. On top of my endo I also had adenomyosis. I was 44 in 2015 so went onto HRT then

Serenity/Progesterone cream
I have been using the above for 26 years after a hysterectomy. It used to be called Pro-gest and now I am using Serenity. I have read on here that I might not be using the best product, but I can't remember the name of the alternative. I would welcome any other suggestions please if that is allowed

Chemo and RT for Endo?
I just had a hysterectomy for adenocarcinoma endometrial type. I lived with post menopausal bleeding and let fear get in the way of my diagnosis for 4 years prior to surgery. The CT scan prior to surgery showed no spread beyond the uterus but the pathology report of the uterine lymph nodes had some

How to cope?
My symptoms began truly way back at 8 year old, my first period landed me in hospital. I suffered massive traumas, abuses at the hands of several pervert men, abuses from parents, bullied etc... how i made it this far is beyond me. Edit: These abuses were in childhood and are for context that i suffered

DEXA dilemma
Morning all. I posted my recent DEXA experience on Sheffield Jane’s thread the other day, but thought my own thread might be helpful. Briefly, i was due to have my 2nd DEXA scan in May at the local NHS hospital. Covid19 happened, I didn’t get an appointment. Understandable, but disappointed as have

Recently diagnosed, chemo or not?
Hi everyone, I’ve read your stories and you all sound so brave and so positive but I’m fighting negativity as my experience of doctors has been pretty much all bad. I’ve been diagnosed with cancer of the uterus, both endometriod and high-grade clear cell carcinoma. Suddenly in May 2020, they decided

Hi, I'm new here. I'm awaiting a hysterectomy. How can I get my GP and Gynae consultant to see that all my symptoms link to endometriosis?
I've gone round in circles for years and seemed to get nowhere just more ill health. At this moment I've come the farthermost yet. All symptoms been kept in isolation and unsuccessfully treated. I saw a poster about Endometriosis awareness month and did some research and saw that all the symptoms I have
