Fatigue and pelvic/leg pain. Any tips?

Hi. New to this group and so relieved to have somewhere to go for ppl who understand! I'm mid 40s and had a laparoscopy about 8 yrs ago. Drs made me feel I was overreacting but were surprised to find more endo than they thought. I never had heavy periods but v painful. Would wake at night in such pain thought I was dying. That's over now. Am on progesterone. Not having periods but constantly constantly zero energy and now I've started such pain in my lower back and legs. Could that be connected? Drs dont take fatigue seriously. I know it's not as bad as that intense pain but it's still debilitating! Dont know what to do coz I cant take other hormones because I have a blood clotting problem, cant have a coil because I have a septum in my uterus. A dr once mentioned about "5 min hysterectomy " - removing the endometrium but even that drastic measure might not work because of my septum. I feel so down and hopeless. I know so many of you have it worse but i just dont know what more to do -another lap? It's really depressing getting up every day with no energy and pain, often walking like an old woman. Drives me crazy when family say I'm "feeling tired"

Hi

The start of your story reminds me of me, diagnosed in my mid 30s Endo with me into the mid forties and beyond but that said I can relate to the fatigue and leg aches to me it felt like I had the flu from the waist down every month but I did have heavy periods. I was put on a progesterone pill but later Mefemanic acid was my saviour felt it working every month. I am sorry but I know what it is but know nothing about septum in uterus so cannot offer any suggestions but I thought as I can relate to your other symptoms I wanted to let you know you are not alone🤗 big hug.

I haven’t been able to get a laparoscopy to confirm endo but I am on progesterone to stop my period because of cyclical pelvic pain that radiates to my legs, and I have a lot of fatigue (I have a family history of stroke at a young age so I can’t take estrogen either). It’s really tough. I did find that a quercetin supplement has been helping a little, as well as osteopathic treatments (a lot of the nerves to your legs pass through your tailbone and hips so sometimes an osteopathic alignment can help reset the nerves). I also use menthol/camphor patches and topical capsaicin if the pain gets really bad. I hope you find something that works!

Thank you. Ill look into some of that. I had never thought before that the leg pain could be connected to my endo. In a way I'm glad to know what it could be. When I feel ok I think I must have been overreacting... and then it hits again. Whoa.
