Endo and duplex kidney?
Hi, My gyne has agreed to do a hysterectomy but wanted me to have a scan so he could see what was occurring since my last lap a year ago. He said along with the endo, I have hydrosalpinx and that my womb is blobby and swollen. The pictures he showed me just looked weird and lumpy. During my scan

Do women with endo still go through the menopause despite the high levels of oestrogen?? and medical negligence...
Hi, does anyone know if women with endo continue to have high levels of oestrogen even through the menopause?? I have so many menopausal symptoms yet my levels of oestrogen are believed to be very high so experts say that I have oestrogen dominance which can also lead to symptoms similar to the menopause

Endo and oestrogen and risk for blood clots
Hi I suffer with endometriosis. It was discovered during my hysterectomy in 2019. I developed a PE 6 days after surgery and I am now on blood thinners for life. I have been suffering with horrible brain fog, difficulty concentrating and remembering. I get confused because I don't remember things sharply

Told fibro but wasnt
Ive found out recently for sure that my so called fibromyalgia was a lack of estrogen caused first by the menopause, giving me many debiliating symptoms, and then when I had a hysterectomy it suddenly got far far worse, dangerously so. Get to the route cause
Hi. I am not needing advice but I hope my post can help at least one person. Ive had "asthma" supposedly for years, and am a lady of 65. My doctors always talked as if it is normal to suddenly get asthma, for no apparent reason, and live with it forever. I also have small lungs where I am not able to

hi everyone. I got diagnosed with stage 4 endo in may after I had a laparoscopy to remove a 4cm endometrioma. I didn’t know I had it. I had been having heavy periods for a few days a month but put it down to my age 45. I did occasionally have pain going number 2 and other random pains but didn’t think

pros and cons of hysterectomy vs decapeptyl injections for fibroids
Hi- wondering if anyone else had to make a decision between continuing decapeptyl injections (simulate menopause to control fibroids) or having open hysterectomy? Been on the injections a year now. There isn’t much research on long term use of injections which ‘switch off’ your hormones, and I can

Levothyroxine V Progesterone/Estrogen dominance?
Is it possible that I’ve gone down the wrong road to feel well? Two years after starting Estrogen only treatment for menopause I developed hypothyroid symptoms. I always assumed I didn’t need progesterone as I’ve had a hysterectomy. However, I recently discovered the key role that progesterone plays

Can anyone give an idea of what could be causing the following please? Taking estrogen patches - had a total hysterectomy - became even more ill with all sorts of symptoms that pointed to low estrogen. Patches are the solution, terrific, help in many ways, feel better than have for many years. But I
