One set back after another
I feel like I’m losing the will to live. There’s no real point to this post but I feel like I’m going no where. I was supposed to have an endometrial scratch today, day 21 of my cycle, in preparation to start my 4th round of stims next month. As ever, I’m still on my period. 21 days of bleeding again

Hi I was wondering if anyone is in the same boat as me. I am 43 years old and up until November 2022 had never received any procedure for my condition, I was disagnosed over 10 years ago and was given 3 options - the pill, a procedure that would remove endometriosis but I was assured it would come back

Hi everyone Hope you are all well. I had a full thyroid panel in April 2021. My thyroid peroxidase antibody level came back as >1000 IU/ml. The rest of results were with range. T3,t4 and TSH. I was referred to a thyroid specialist who i had a telephone consultation with and diagnosed with hypothyroidism

Hi all I’ve not been here for nearly 3 months time has disappeared recently. Last time here was the night before my surgery.
Surgery was ok ( In hindsight ! ). total hysterectomy bilateral salpingoophrectomy .., they took my appendix and also omentum. Histology came back as Stage 1c2 mucinous adenocarcinoma . Was suspected ( as most mucinous are ) that it was a secondary tumour from GI origin ( stomach / bowel) I’ve had

Top tips for RECOVERY
Hello all, I’m due to have a partial hysterectomy and bowel resection in mid Feb. I know that so many factors can affect how long it takes to recover, but what I’d love to know from people that have been through it, what we’re the things that helped? Looking back on it, what were the things you

Hi ladies, 3 years ago I had a prolapse repair. I am currently waiting for a hysterectomy to stop my Adenomyosis pain. Now I have another prolapse. I can hardly walk and in so much discomfort. I'm really trying to enjoy life but it's all so testing 😢 I've had enough. I always do my Pelvic floor

What now?
So I had my post surgery appointment with my specialist a few weeks ago, I've been trying to digest what he said...but honestly I feel so deflated and like I'm going in circles. My hospital is BSGE registered, and there's only 1 other hospital that is BSGE in my region, so I feel stuck. Basically he

Anxiety and depression post-hysterectomy
Hi, I'm trying to find out if anyone else out there had a hysterectomy and a lot of anxiety and depression afterwards. Most people think you have a hysterectomy just because you're selfish and you want your life to be easier but for me I am at a high risk for cancer reoccurence so it was a decision

Night spasms
I had bowel cancer in May last year and had a hemi-colectomy that was straight forward and needed no further treatment. Nine weeks after that operation I was told that they had found another cancer on the bowel they removed. This turned out to be Low grade serous ovarian cancer. I had a Radical hysterectomy
