hi, I was diagnosed with endometrial in September 2020, I’ve since had chronic pain and was advised to complete my family and then have a hysterectomy, i have since had my baby and I’m about to start the injections to mimic the menopause, but I would like to have an MRI scan to check for endometriosis

Adenomyosis Warriors...advice sought from a new adeno club member
Hi all! I am new to this community as just two weeks ago I was diagnosed with adenomyosis after years of pain and being sent in circles by doctors. Guess I am a new member to the adeno club. The specialist said I need a hysterectomy and talked of IVF. I'm 43 no kids. I don't want a hysterectomy

Mini pill
hi everyone. I tried noriday mini pill for just under 3 mths but I bled a lot and was quite angry on it 🤦♀️ I stopped taking it a week before my holiday in august, as I was worried it would ruin it with all the bleeding. However I saw my gynea 2 weeks ago for my mri follow up. My endo is severe

Struggling a bit
Hi, I was diagnosed in July with 1C Mucinous OC with a few clear cells also found. It was a bit of a shock diagnosis (for consultant as well) as after bloods and MRI etc, nothing appeared sinister. The original affected ovary was only found by chance (random unrelated question to GP and no symptoms

Excision surgery or hysterectomy?
Hi all, I need a bit of help/advise on how to move forward. Just had a call with the doctor. I tried many meds, but they do not help much. I have very tight pelvic muscles that causes pain. I am taking Cymbalta for my nerve pain that is caused by tight muscles. I have Mirena, that does not help much

reoccurrence of endometriosis after hysterectomy?
I had my hysterectomy 3 years ago as my endometriosis was spreading to my organs. For the past few months I’ve been getting pain and bleeding. Doctors have said it’s normal. But I don’t think it is. Has anyone else had this?

Cost of going private for a hysterectomy!!
Hi Everyone I’m currently on the waiting list for a total laparoscopic hysterectomy on the NHS but have seen a private consultant because I suspect the NHS waiting time is going to be really long and I haven’t been given a date yet although I am on Prostap injections in preparation, but as I’m constantly

Hi Quick question, I have an appointment with my GP tomorrow to talk about my Gynae issues and I was thinking about asking to try a Progestogen only pill. I had my tubes tied 14 years ago and had the coil twice but it fell out. While I wait for my hysterectomy I was think would the pill help

old scars flaring up!
I’m just putting it out there as I am not sure that I may have read something on this forum but I could be wrong. I had a hysterectomy 20 years ago but today an area of the scar felt a bit tender and on further investigation it appears that a small area has hardened and is red! I take Peg injections

Legal action against all this medical negligence... How to go about it?
Has anyone ever tried to take legal action against medical negligence?? I was never mentioned the possibility that my ovarian cyst and fibroid might have been endometriosis. Was never diagnosed with it despite my many years of suffering with PMS and heavy bleeding etc. I was totally against surgery

Pain is killing me
Hi, I had a quadruple heart bypass just before my 51st birthday 4 years ago, I have since been left with nerve damage in my torso. They said it would have happened from an underlying issue ok. Then just over a year ago I had womb cancer and had a total hysterectomy but now with my nerve damage I am in

Endo and duplex kidney?
Hi, My gyne has agreed to do a hysterectomy but wanted me to have a scan so he could see what was occurring since my last lap a year ago. He said along with the endo, I have hydrosalpinx and that my womb is blobby and swollen. The pictures he showed me just looked weird and lumpy. During my scan

Do women with endo still go through the menopause despite the high levels of oestrogen?? and medical negligence...
Hi, does anyone know if women with endo continue to have high levels of oestrogen even through the menopause?? I have so many menopausal symptoms yet my levels of oestrogen are believed to be very high so experts say that I have oestrogen dominance which can also lead to symptoms similar to the menopause

Endo and oestrogen and risk for blood clots
Hi I suffer with endometriosis. It was discovered during my hysterectomy in 2019. I developed a PE 6 days after surgery and I am now on blood thinners for life. I have been suffering with horrible brain fog, difficulty concentrating and remembering. I get confused because I don't remember things sharply
