Fortnightly S&F catch-up: Does your time fly when your working out?

Whoops, I dropped the ball and realised it’s been 4 weeks since the last fortnightly catch-up!

Where did those four weeks go!?!?!? 

Well in my case, they went in various challenges. First there were the indoor rowing c2 dogdays to finish up in August, which involved rowing 10k more every week. I was halfway through those, last time I wrote the fortnightly (see healthunlocked.com/strength... )  

Then my ZLDR  Zwift running community started its September challenge, wich has some fun team challenges (see zldr.club ).  

And then I started a C2 indoor rowing WOD challenge this week rowing a different workout set by the good people at Concept2. 

All of that kept me pretty busy. Add to that that I’m in the penultimate week of my Running Plan to consolidate my weekly 5k   (NRC), no wonder that the weeks rushed by! 

And there’s more to come! I’m waiting for the next set of workout challenges to start:

★ 20 Sept Start of Run World Cup, and there is still time to join us at healthunlocked.com/bridgeto...

hi there CBDB 😊

Well I'm 5 days late replying... so much for me trying to keep up with forum posts 😂😂

I've been trying to get back into my S and F routine of Monday Yoga class , Saturday zoom Pilates class with 2 sessions of physio exercises plus another couple of 10 / 15 minutes pilates fitted in during the week.

I've been partially successful with a ✅ for yoga and ✅ physio but the Pilates has been a bit hit and miss, not helped as there has been no zoom class due to the teacher being on holiday. I'm determined to do a 45 minute on online session today.

I've also signed up for the Breast Cancer Daily Pilates Movement Challenge in October. This time you have to pay £5 to register but that's fine with me, but will hopefully get me back into the Pilates routine.

Lots of bending, stretching and weight lifting care of gardening 😊🥀🧑‍🌾

oh well done! Sounds like you also have your schedule full of lovely Yoga and Pilates sessions. And gardening workouts are not to be underestimated!

Yes, I still have a few series of online Pilates challenges saved for when I get around to them.
