hey sorry to hear you will be without your medication for a whole.

well, not sure if it helps everyone as it helps me, but magnesium chloride oil. i mix it at least 50/50 with distilled water (you may med more or less water as it can be itchy if it isn't diluted enough) put that into a spray bottle and when my muscles are relentless ill rub it on where I'm hurting and the pain eases. it doesn't go away completely, but it is more bearable.

i will occasionally (if it is keeping me up at night )take a otc PM pain reliever, that way it keeps me from waking up in the middle of the night. so i wake up rested and not miserable.

stretching also helps me.

i know i wasnt much help.

have fun on your trip and i hope you find something to help with pain.

xx

Thanks for replying! It’s gonna be a challenge, muscle rubs don’t work for me and believe me I’ve tried! It’s a deep bone pain too in the joints. Hopefully sunshine and rest won’t challenge me! If I wasn’t going on my own id probably be more positive lol! X

found this in relation to prescribed meds but you could check with consulate

What are the exceptions for items that passengers entering to Turkey may bring in accompanied baggage?

6. Medication brought, as accompanied baggage or one month prior or after their arrivals, by passengers visiting our country for purposes of personal treatment included in Appendix-9 of the Resolution shall be allowed at reasonable amounts, considering the time the passengers will spend in our country and provided that a document (report from healthcare organization, doctor’s report ore prescription, etc.) stating that the passengers must use such medication during their travel is presented to the customs administration.

Wow thanks for looking this up. The CBD is bought online! I think I’ll just get the best otc meds, I’m travelling alone and would die a thousand deaths if there is any controversy at arrivals 😂😂🇹🇷

the above would not apply to OTC meds but only prescribed medication and would require a doctors letter.

My experience of flying in to Turkey is don't take it.

You are very unlikely to get any Doctor in UK to certify you are taking it for medicinal reasons.

Daftest thing though....you can buy cannabis very easily throughout the country.!!

You will have such a wonderful holiday, adrenalin will flow...you won't need your CBD

Thank you so much, yep that’s what I’m banking on! Adrenaline and maybe sit next to someone having a smoke 😂😂👌
