Does anyone suffer with the dreadful exaulstion with fybromylarga please

Pain is exhausting, and if you don't sleep well that doesn't help. I think your body and your brain are constantly stressed from the pain and that takes its toll on your system. I have Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (used to be called M.E.) so maybe you need to look into that too. Again there's no cure or real treatment, but you have to pace yourself carefully, and exercise makes it worse. I do gentle stretches when I can and some days I manage a gentle 5 minute walk. With the fibro I find that moving does help, but when you're so exhausted it's hard to find the motivation, so I join very gentle online classes like chair yoga, and only do what I can. The WEA has a good range of online classes.
I also find music helps - Capital Chill has some music that I find easy to listen to with a gentle beat and I often put that on with headphones as I move around the house.
I can't work so if you're having to work too I think that must be so much harder. I hope you can find some things that help you.
yes, its totally different to tiredness. Trying to explain this to anyone is very difficult. For me it can also ramp up at an alarming rate to the point where putting one foot in front of the other is nigh on impossible.
Hi, yes I do. There are times when I just have to go to bed, can't keep my eyes open. It's difficult to explain to people how you feel, you're just overcome with fatigue. Wish I had an answer! Hope you have a good day.
mine comes on all of a sudden without any warning.I feel like a zombie.I just have to sit down and rest.Oh these auto immune diseases don’t half age you
Hi yes I do understand. I have ME as well as fibromyalgia. When you can, try rest and move, rest and move. Learn about deep breathing and practice daily twice a day, it takes time but it has become my best friend. Anxiety causes fatigue which although I suffer from, I do try to use the breathing. Can you see your GP. Prozac is energising. Please be aware I am not medica.,y trained.H

Hello severe tiredness is horrid , like Natural dyed I have CFS as well so juggling the 2 conditions can be challenging, I would go see your GP as soon as you can , they may do some blood tests too check everything is okay , I had too push my doctor for a diagnosis of CFS as I have treated sleep apnea the CFS clinic would not commit too giving me a diagnosis but my symptoms were overwhelming at times and for my own personal health records I wanted this documented, let us know how you get along xx
yes absolutely- it’s so hard and I work full time as well. Iron tablets help a little as does protein but only minimally. Worth getting new blood work though as sometimes dr can identify better supplements to take. It should ebb and flow but I sympathise as there is just no way of explaining just how bad that fatigue is. I describe it as my batteries completely running out. Good luck!
Yes, it usually hits me out of the blue, I get absolutely shattered. It's a struggle to even get out of the chair.
You may have chronic fatigue syndrome as well as the fibromyalgia. I was diagnosed with both in 94. Just working 2hrs a day with most of that was doing documentation after assessing my two patients who were husband and wife. I had a ride to work which was just 1/2 over and down two small blocks but walking back home I would crash on the couch until my husband came home from work for his lunch break. I finally had to apply for disability insurance. I was denied because of my young age. But after going through a lawyer I won the case. I have found that fibro likes to invite other conditions to join the party it is throwing in our bodies. Also vitamin B12 deficiency was something I had a few years back and had to take the shots for it. After it went too high now it is on the lower end so my doctor said to start taking OTC vitamin B complex. Also vitamin D deficiency was something I had back in 2012 so was placed on prescription strength vitamin D 50,000U twice a week for several years. When my vitamin B levels went high my vitamin D also went high and was told to stop taking everything that contains vitamin B &D. Which now had gone low so my doctor said to take OTC vitamin D 2,000u daily. My doctor will recheck my levels to see where my levels are at with taking OTC supplements. All these and other conditions like depression can cause debilitating fatigue. Ask your doctor about running blood tests to check for these conditions.

Non refreshing sleep and fatigue are both core symptoms of fibromyalgia. People vary greatly in how fibro affects them and some people will get little or occasional fatigue and others will get frequent and severe versions. And there will be many in between.
Yes I get that. Its worse in late afternoon and early evenings. I rarely sleep for more than 5 or 6 hours because of pain somewhere. I also have sleep apnea diagnosed in 2003. Have been using cpap ever since. I know what you mean, its different than just being tired.I try to do some stretching of hamstrings, calves, feet, piriformis and shoulder rolls to ease tightness. Just being in pain exhausts you.
Don't overdo anything even if you are having a good day and pace yourself if you can while doing chores etc. and take breaks.
I can't imagine now as I'm worse as I get older having a job that involves physical effort or standing a lot.
i feel for you, i suffer from this daily. I also work 5 days a week, never fit enough or capable to do anything after work except walk my dog which isnt easy. Im always looking forward to the weekend when i can possibly do stuff but the weekend comes and im exhausted. Im constantly saying to my wife how useless i feel and it gets me angry and frustrated. Its never ending with something else. On top of the pain and insomnia. Life is a struggle but we try daily and thats all we can do.
Take care
Yes, I have this too, to the point I can't speak and struggle to walk. I have ME/CFS (myalgic encephalitis/chronic fatigue syndrome) as well as Fibromyalgia. They are very similar except with chronic fatigue it's the fatigue that's worse, while with fibromyalgia it's pain that tends to be worse.
Maybe have a chat with your doctor. But many doctors don't know much about it or don't believe it exists. Same as with fibromyalgia. The thing that has helped me most with both is to do stuff to calm down my nervous system. Like deep breathing exercises, guided meditation and grounding exercises, listening to music, getting into the garden and the sunshine, but especially slowing down, including the mind. I find I'm trying to rush to get things done, sometimes this is only in my mind 😂
Things that drain my energy are cognitive stuff as well as physical, such as reading and writing, which I love but have to limit in times when symptoms are bad. Instead I listen to audio books. And sometimes chatting on the phone for a long time is draining, depending on who it is.
Take care and God bless xx 💝
