Went to gp the other day as my skin on upper arms got large hives, then when scratched turned into large bruises. Was told by a cover gp that my iron is extremely low, 10. On iron tablets plus b12 and folic for a long time. So fed up with it now. People at work said that they can give injection or blood transfusion? Why is it some other Doctor surgery offer this and others don't! Still not put on any weight, tummy sore, absorption not going well neither due to bowel disease.... Well rant over, thanks for reading!!!

It sounds as though you are going through a tough time. No all Gp surgeries aren't the same I know our neighbour has always had the injections which are more easily absorbed. I know my friend lost a lot of weight through bowel disease and it can be as bad as being overweight.
Never apologise for having a rant better out than in. Take care.x
