Coil problems??

So I had a 2nd laparoscopy for Endo & Mirena fitted just over 4 weeks ago - ever since I have been having abdo pains, which are no improvement on before the op; 2 1/2 weeks post op they diagnosed me as having expected PID due to Coil & prescribed 2 lots of antibiotics... Pain still hasn't gone away, so back to the Dr I went today - he told me that my stomach is very tender around where I have the pain & maybe I will need the coil removed :(

What other options can there be for the Coil?? I really didn't get on with the Pill when I had that before my first laparoscopy & just worried what I can do to prevent the Endo again if they remove it.

Has anyone had any similar experiences before please?? xx
