Breathing Exercise 2: How to cough up what's not supposed to be there...
When you first stop smoking, you may feel that you have more phlegm and mucus on your chest This may cause you to feel a bit rattly and as though you need to ' cough something up'... Doesn't sound very nice, I know but this is a good sign. At the end of the day, you are only coughing up what is not

Anxiety/Breathing Issues

New here, could use some advice
Internet help forums aren't usually my thing, but I'm starting to get pretty down about all of this so even if it's just a bit of encouragment (to do what I don't know) I'd appreciate it. Tinnitus... I've had a little bit on and off over the years, usually because I've been yoiking a cotton bud around

6 months on from OHS
Hi. Exactly 6 months ago today since OHS for a mitral valve repair. 50 year old guy. For anyone waiting for OHS, nervous, apprehensive even scared all normal feelings pre-op but can honestly say you will be in fantastic hands, amazing and caring hospital staff. 6 months on other than the scar, that's

weaning off Xanax
this is the 2nd time I would be taking Xanax. I just off gabapentin and then shortly after that I got hit by a pinched nerve injury in my neck. It was so painful I needed to calm down. Talked to my shrink and he okayed the Xanax, which in and of itself makes me anxious right now because it causes blurry

hi all I’m new and always overwhelmed! I’m in therapy and on meds. Right now nothing is helping. I’ve done breathing exercises journals and prayer. I always think the worst is going to happen because it always has. I’m so tired.

Another wild night of trying to hang out while mom's drunk because i don't have a room. Plus why i don't want to attend Al-Anon
She was drunk yapping. She was watching a movie and she was telling me how bad the villain did. Like it's a movie - if there's no villain, nothing happens, also you don't write the script. She gave me tasks today and i did them all. But i had to throw the rubbish. Finally i got tired of her and i thought

Back Again
Hello everyone, sorry in advance for the mammoth post. I was last on this forum about 7-8 years ago in 2015/2016 after my previous symptom free asthma flared up badly and left me very sick (back on inhalers, steroids, and multiple hospital admissions). We managed to get my asthma back under control
