Negative thinking
I always feel my worst in the evenings and i don't know why i think it might be where i know its when your suppose to unwind and im pressurizing myself to do it to much that i get myself worked up.
At the end of everyday write 3 things that were good for you in that day and 3 things your grateful for, that will start to kick in some optimism.
You need to try and chill out before going to bed, have a bath or a hot milky drink before bed, plan your bedtimes so your in a routine might be hard at first but perservere because it will make all the difference.
Hope this helped.
Hi artsmithy and welcome
We should have an on and off switch for our brains but until one is invented here's what helps me. Relaxation is really helpful, when in a warm bath putting your hands on your tummy and just noticing your breath, feel how it moves slowly up and slowly falls, if your mind wanders bring it back to focus on your tummy. Another trick whilst in bed is to picture a happy event in your life, hold the picture in your mind and try to bring it alive, is the sky blue, what are people wearing etc etc the more you practise it the more alive the picture becomes and the more relaxed you are. It takes practise but it does work. Hope this helps Take care love eve
Thank you very much for that advice i will try that tonight, been getting alot of great adivce. Thank you
You take care aswell

hi, have you ever thought about cbt. it is meant to be very good for helping to change thought patterns, turning the negative thoughts around. It is available through Anxiety UK, you do have to pay but the level is dependent on your income, you can even do it over the telephone. Just a thought, it may help.
Be kind to yourself,
Recently I tried connecting with how it feels when we feel loved, then feel it in your heart.
I found this difficult at first, as I thought it silly, however as I kept trying I realised it was me that was silly, its great and it does work. Its called loving kindness.
