I fear that if put in a nursing home, klonopin will be stopped. This is very scary. I would be laying in a bed going crazy. Anybody had experience with this happening to yourself or relatives?

Ask your doctor. He should know the answer.
Nursing home staff will look after your medical needs in consultation with a doctor. The days of old where residents were neglected and forgotten have been replaced with a much better approach to care.
If you are over 65, your may even be managed by a specialist with interest in senior citizens, a gerontologist.
One of my relatives just moved in at 92 years old and couldn't be happier.
