Hot flashes unrelated to menopause

Does anyone get these? Lately my face feels warm and sometimes my chest. Often mild sweating accompanies. I thought it might have to do with an increase in thyroid hormone, but I read an article citing it could be chronic stress (which I have). Too young for menopause.

I have social anxiety and normally i have hot flashes and start to sweat a lot when i get nervous and when i relax all this stop, so i think that could be happening the same with you

Thank you for this- I have noticed it definitely seems to accompany situations that are stressful to me

My face, neck and chest get flushed if my anxiety is being a bother... that being said, my knees get hot to the touch as well. I'm told that is probably arthritis, still doesn't keep me from panicking about it :-/.

Me too! I take meds 2 times a day... it keeps it at bay, but it's never completely gone . I'd give anything not to feel this way....and that includes quitting smoking 10 months ago, and cutting caffeine....which really only seemed to make it worse.
