Good morning, I’ve been on Zoloft and Ativan for a little over five weeks. At times I feel very spacey and disconnected from reality. Almost like I’m watching myself and the people around me. As if I’m in the third person. I’ve asked the psychiatrist this question and he states it’s anxiety. I feel like it’s the meds because I didn’t feel this way before I started the meds, even though I was anxious at the time. Anyone else experience this on Zoloft? Any input or insight is appreciated.

Disconnect on Zoloft and Ativan
Mongea, in my own experience with medication, I found it was the benzo
med that gave me that disconnected feeling. It's a way of trying to calm you
from reality. I never knew what was causing that feeling for me until I
was weaned off my benzo drug. My head became clear and I was in the
moment of reality. I'm still on my SSRI med with no ill effects.
Do not adjust or stop either medication. Your doctor is the judge of
what is best for you. Wishing you well. xx
What doses are you on? I’ve been on .5mg am/pm of Ativan and 12mg Zoloft for the past 2 weeks. I’ve weaned down from 1.5 mg Ativan and my dr wants to up the Zoloft dose. I’m scared to be on both, it seems like so much medicine!
I’m on 125 mg of Zoloft and I’ve weaned myself down to
.75 mg of Ativan a day .25/ three times a day.
Yes. I’m on 25mg of Zoloft and can relate
