Ativan

Recently added 2mg lorazepam to try and offset opiod induced insomnia and get some sleep. Had the opposite effect. Agitation. Restlessness with urge to move. Can't win for losing. Keep turning over rocks until someone gives .

Headache/ less drowsy than Ativan but less effective. Will it get better! Thanks.

I will be seeing my doctor next week but I also understand I have to watch for drug interactions like ppi’s I’ve been occasionally using for reflux and Ativan for anxiety .Many thanks in advance.

I don’t seem like I can control my anxiety anymore… and I don’t want the medication… they gave me Zoloft and another medicine that’s not Ativan. I hate new meds and I’m not into side effects…. I just want to sleep like normal, turn off my brain/thoughts and live life like I used to.

I have to take ativan everyday for some anxiety relief. Can you please share your thoughts? Thankyou so much 🙏🏻

I'm not interested in taking Ativan or anything like that. I'm not looking forward to the skin issues that come with radiation treatment either but at least that will heal after treatment.

He’s taking Ativan 0.5mg for anxiety daily , and prozasin 10 mg , mamentine 10mg for suspected Catatonia . Have tried a few ssri for depression but none seemed to work like lexapro, Zoloft, efferox, . The depression is very severe where he can’t function and needs 24 hour care takers with him .

Also, I've been on Ativan 1.5 mg per day for last 30 years. Has anyone heard that this might be part of this RLS thing? Any help would be appreciated.

The second two days I took Ativan before dosing it worked but it was tough. Maybe my body needs to adjust to the new meds. Any tips?

So then Wednesday night we finally get Ativan added to her account to help her calm down. It is IV but it is the lowest dose. So that helped her sleep pretty well Wednesday night.

I have been taking Lorazepam on and off for a while, as-needed. I rarely take more than 0.5mg at a time, and not every day. In response to current stress (as irrational as it may be), I'm thinking of trying 1mg at a time. I know this is still considered a small dose for anxiety, but I want to avoid

Has there been any studies or research that shows Benzodiazepine (Ativan) to be the cause of CLL ?

Went to the ER again about 30 days later and they said it’s just stress and just sent me home with Ativan. I am suffering really badly, clinical symptoms seem to point to serotonin system not functioning properly (just a guess) and I don’t know how much more my body and mind can take.

The surgery was 1/26 and it’s now mid April so you can imagine how excruciating the waiting has been but helped slightly by Ativan. If you’re not asking your doctor about help with anxiety, you should be. My PET scan is scheduled for 4/26. Finally.

., tests run, no history of alcohol/drug abuse, finally given Ativan, which relieved his symptoms. Further treatment was recommended so he was seen at a m.h. facility and not deemed ill enough for admission but signed up for outpatient intensive therapy.

I went a full week without needing Ativan. I thought things were about to get back to normal. This week, I was hit again with panic attacks and anxiety. Now I'm spiraling in fear that the Zoloft isn't working anymore and I won't have a way to handle this.

More recently, however, I have found it to be very effective in small quantities for anxiety, so much so that some days I will take 4 or 5 hits instead of taking an Ativan or an Ambien at night.

So going to take a 0.5 Ativan with it tonight. Sooooo hoping that side effect goes away in time. Dry mouth too but I can handle that!

I pace call my friend to talk me into taking and have to take an ativan to take the antidepressant! No issues taking Ativan lol. But to add to it I took cipralex 6 mths ago and horribke reaction and took them 6 weeks to figure out it was the pills.
