Ativan

I have ocd /harm ocd and I had much success with lexapro and Ativan for 20 years til the lexapro stopped working 2 years ago. Now on Paxil 60 mg and Ativan and Paxil has not helped at all. Anyone else have this problem? Should I try adding low dose abilify as adjunct.

my friend recently told me that lorazapam/Ativan is most effective in decreasing severe anxiety attacks and has no neg side effects? My psychiatrist didn’t want to prescribe it since it’s less effective than Klonopin but Klonopin barely helps me.

Is it controlling like Ativan? Is is addictive?

I'm waiting to hear from my doctor to refer me to a psychiatrist, until then they gave me Ativan. Any tips, help or recommendations? I'm really down and have this constant fear and nervousness in the pit of my stomach. Any way to make it stop? Sorry if this. Bit much but I'm desperate and need help

They gave me ativan and stomach meds. Within 15 min I felt completely better. Like pysch ward material to wow I feel okay. Now its comes in waves and has completely made me not be able to work eat etc so I start antidepressants today. I am sure this is rock bottom. The worst EVER.

Instead its like here take these pills try to stay out of hospital and oh the ativan dont take that unless u have to lol. Well pretty well have to everyday small dose 0.5. Anyone else all over the place?

I got the weirdest sensation of a warm rush going through my body and totally freaked out took ativan and it subsided and spent day at hospital. They did blood work and a mock ultrasound on my gastric issues and I have an actual in depth one this week.

No full panic attack just flashy so guess pills are doing something in that way. 2 days without Ativan I am determined to not use it daily. My BP is low see Doctor Tuesday so hopefully he will help with that. This is so exhausting.

I'm seeking advice and recommendations to coming off Ativan, I'm on 0.5mg twice daily (one before bed and the other first thing in the morning). I've been on this dosage for at least 4 to 5 months.

I am trying to go without the 0.5 ativan today to kinda test the 10 mg of Lexapro if its in my system enough to at least prevent a panic attack. Tried on Wednesday made it until 5 pm then crashed and burned lol. All I can do is try right!

i been taking Ativan and changed to diazepam about 25 years ago I have now been taking these tablets for nearly 50 years now, I been on 4mg a day for over 15 years now, Could this be the reason my legs shake when standing up or walking, Parkinsons has been ruled out by my consultant.

I was taking a low dose for f Ativan last year and my doctor did an abrupt cessation and really destroyed me - emotionally and physically. I’ve been back on a medication thanks to finding a good psychiatrist.

A fun couple of days 😁Had MRI guided biopsy with a side of Ativan on Thursday. A long time pt and her Mom drove me there and back. Looking for mutations to target.

I have to do my six month blood work other than Ativan I’ve stopped all meds that my dr has believed are causing my higher blood LFTs here’s hoping that’s all it was and nothing more. I did take some ibuprofen today for a headache hoping that doesn’t mess with my blood work.

I am so angry that I am going through this at all as prescription for Ativan was to take every 6 hours as needed for anxiety. It's no wonder how I became dependent!!

So I increased my metroprolol and ativan to keep calm. I have a history of reflux and been on meds for that for over 40 years. Is my ablation failing? This is how my afib began before. Any help would be great.

its been one long week since starting the Ativan taper. Increase of panic attacks and anxiety, suicidal thoughts, bad dreams, chest and shoulder tension, no appetite, no energy, no motivation, weight loss.Is there any help for this?

I really like my proponalol rather than my Ativan. But my life situation is very hard and I can't seem to get in a positive mindset.

I attempted to get to 4:5mgs and boy my body went mad, on the second day at night I was so dizzy and had the worst strangest headache I had to go to bed with two Panadol extras, a Palexia, and an Ativan as I was spinning out.

Has anyone else found that Ativan helpful with freezing gait and other symptomsimmediately .
