Zoloft

Started my new dose of Zoloft yesterday- 150 mg. It’s been quite a ride, originally starting out at 25 mg. It’s taken almost 11 weeks to get to this point. There are a few symptoms I’m trying to get rid of. The disconnect feeling I have at times and trying to improve my overall mood.

Has anyone had success at higher levels of Zoloft in ridding yourself of the disconnect and experienced improved mood.

Any thoughts or encouragement are appreciated!

I would add that I’m currently weaning off my Ativan. 5 weeks to go.

Also dealing with the tapering off of Ativan. I can say I’ve found some relief in that my appetite has returned and my energy levels seem to be returning. Anxiety has also improved but I’m still dealing with a lot of disconnect. I’m not sure if this is the Zoloft, the tapering of the Ativan or the anxiety itself? I hate to give up on Zoloft because I’ve had no serious side effects and it has brought me some relief, but if the disconnect feeling is from it- I’m not sure I can stay on it long term. I don’t even feel part of reality a lot of the time. It’s a very disturbing feeling.
