Zoloft update

These records are good for me and maybe for others!

So, today and yesterday I experienced blurred vision. I’ve had this before from anxiety, but I think it’s the Zoloft cuz I’ve been not really panicky at all. I’ve had an MRI and eye exams last month so I know it’s nothing severe! See, the hypochondria is getting better.

Anyway, I’m feeling relaxed this AM. But foggy. Kinda dream like. Definitely the Zoloft but I feel more like me as I wean off.

Feeling motivated. Honestly, part of it is the fear of losing it all. My boyfriend has been my pillar and even when he’s tough and not feeding into my anxiety, I think it helps. The reassurance we all “need” can perpetuate the problem. But I got terrified thinking of wtf would happen if I’m still crying hysterically while googling symptoms even after I was tested negative for stuff and.. I was like “this isn’t me.” It is but it’s not all of me and I let it consume it all.

Anywho.. I’m at home alone right now and don’t feel like panicking. I could not be alone last week without freaking out. I was given some tasks to do around the house while my bf works on his apartment and after I update this, I’m gonna do it.

The fears I have are slowly diminishing. They come in waves but waves are better than 24/7.

I’m far from 100% still but I never thought I’d get this far. Part of my motivation is also getting myself back to where I was after Zoloft. One more week of weaning and I’m done.

Also I have a psychiatric follow up next week and a neurologist follow up. Standard procedures.. but all questions I have about my fears I can ask again. Even though everything was negative, I sometimes do need to ask again. This time, it’ll be the last time, and then I’ll put it all to bed.

Cheers!

I have blurry vision today. I’m pretty convinced it’s the Zoloft as I’ve never had it as a symptom of anxiety until I started taking it.

Ah!! Yeah! I got it from anxiety when it was BAD but I had no anxiety when it happened. It’s definitely the Zoloft!

How are you doing?

I’m ok! Today is one of the days I don’t take it as I taper off and woooooof... I felt so tired today and out of it. Like super foggy! But I’m ok now! Just having dinner and getting ready to take it again. How are you??

I’m ok. Dizziness and lightheadedness returned two days ago again. Reducing my Zoloft again by 12.5 starting tonight. The weird thing is I’m not really anxious about anything!

Ugh!!! The worst symptoms! I’d take the spaciness over that. When I first started AND when I reduced, moving my head felt like an ocean of dizziness. I hope you’re ok tomorrow! Take it easy! My anxiety has def diminished, save for when I think about the side effects! I hope the CBT therapy holds out!

I’ve been having vertigo even while sitting and doing nothing. So you’re feeling better now that you’re going off the Zoloft?

I’ve had my hiccups. Yesterday was a day I took it and my god.. I was DEPRESSED. Today, I’m less cloudy, but anxious.. trying to not think of hypochondria fears. Feeling more like me is def better than that awful weird fog.

So you’re already feeling more like “yourself”? Do you think you’re having any severe withdrawal symptoms? I cut mine by 12.5 again

I’m not sure.. I was in a dark place yesterday out of nowhere, and feel anxious, but feel waaaay more like me. I was too afraid to take the original psychiatrist’s advice and stop cold turkey a week ago so I’m hoping this way let’s me feel more normal with less side effects. I’m mostly just anxious today (my own fault - thinking of hypochondria), a little foggy. Nothing crazy.

How do you feel???

I’ve been dealing with a lot of disconnect. A symptom that I never had before I started taking Zoloft. All my providers keep telling me these feelings are anxiety but I never had them before I started taking meds.

It’s definitely Zoloft. I have it, too.
