It is common for the zoloft to take up to a week or so before you notice any affect. Also, the zoloft did not eliminate my anxiety, it just helped decrease it and make it somewhat manageable, which is quite common. I still needed therapy, learning about anxiety and how to accept it in order to recover.

Don't be so easy to give up. It'll take sometime for the Zoloft to work. I remember the anxiety was horrible when I first started it. You will feel better soon enough. I myself take 100 mg. Would be lost without it. Hang in there.

I'm on 100mg too. I started off at 50mg. 25mg might be too low a dose see how you get on and see your gp if you feel it's worrying you. All I can say is I am waiting for my extra 50mg to start kicking in too. It's been a week now and not quite feeling the additional benefit. It can take upto 4 weeks so hang in there. Just a note if you feel it is not enough then only your gp can increase the dose. You are not allowed to do it yourself. At least not in the UK anyway. Good luck I'm sure tomorrow will be a better day. Each day gets a bit easier and you can start to see a light.
