The GOP very recently passed a FS2025 Budget Resolution bill that I think limits Telehealth Psychiatric visits. I rely on Telehealth for my Psychiatrist, and weekly cognitive health visits. Am I wrong? I hope so!

Are Telehealth Psychiatric & counseling ending on April 1, 2025

You just kicked up my anxiety, as I use Telehealth for my counselor. I will have to talk with her about this. If anyone knows, please inform us! Also, if you have a direct article about this, Crab, I would greatly appreciate reading it myself.
I am anxious about this as well. I called Medicare. You have to talk to your provider. Good luck! <3
Do you have a link to the bill itself. Something odd is coming up for me.
Ok. It looks like it was a bill just for covid and it expires at the end of march, but there is another bill passed last year making certain flexibilities from the bill you read more permanent. HR7623 the Telehealth modernization bill. Here is he update. It sounds like there are some practitioners that only do Telehealth. The ones that won’t be covered by these flexibilities will lose their jobs.

I know it was started in Covid and Biden extended it to March 29th. I use Telehealth for my Psychiatrist and weekly Cognitive Therapy Telehealth sessions. I have to ask my Doctor and Therapists if they will say I'm in a rural area or I will lose my Telehealth Behavioral l Services benefits via Medicare. That was the bill that extended Telehealth to March 29, 2025. That is precisely what I am worried about. The bill you mentioned doesn't extend Telehealth for Medicare patients after April 1st.

"If you aren't in a rural health care setting, you can still get certain Medicare telehealth services on or after April 1, including:
Services for the diagnosis, evaluation, or treatment of a mental and/or behavioral health disorder (including a substance use disorder) in your home"
This is from medicare.gov. It looks like we are safe.
I’m on Medicaid and a work insurance. My partner is on Medicare. I’ve been using my Telehealth doc for years, though my sessions are less often lately because my in person DBT counselor doesn’t want me to have double therapy as my other one can undermine my therapy they are doing.
