My psych asked me if I wanted to do a genetic test to see which meds would work best for me. This second time around the cymbalta isn’t working (and Prozac or lexapro didn’t either). I’ll hear and discuss the results with her tomorrow. Anyone any experience? Did it work? Did you find a better fit for meds? I’m scared to switch again...
Anxiety, when you feel okay you worry about when you will start worrying again, lol. So fun
Hiya. I was taking proxac, duloxetine & finally ended up taking venlafaxine 300mgs daily. They are anti depressants.

Thx! I’m thinking she might move me to venlafaxine as well. So did it work better for you? And I have Anxiety with depressive symptoms, so yes I need an AD. Hoping it will work though. I’m so disappointed that duloxetine isn’t doing the trick anymore...
I’ll ask! It’s an upcoming technique because people respond so differently to medication. Here’s a link with some info. Because it’s relatively new, there’s not a whole lot of evidence yet. So throwing it out here, to see if people have done this and if it worked. I’m skeptical and very much into science, I do not believe in food intolerance tests for instance.
