Lexapro

so I’m on week six of Lexapro, anxieties are still there, but I’m pushing through. Anybody out there on Lexapro give me some advice how long it took for them to feel better. thank you

I asked her if lexapro could be the reason for this and she said that she does not think Lexapro has any thing to do with it. Has anyone else experienced something similar?

I have suffered from depression in 2012 and since then i was on lexapro 20mg. It was in feb 2024 felt like depression coming back and felt lexapro did not work. I went to a Dr and he switched my med from lexapro to desvenlafaxine. I took it for 7 months hoping it will work like lexapro.

Before the trial I was taking Lexapro for years, but it is contraindicated for the trial drug. So, the trial doctor wrote me a prescription for duloxetine and said to take it the next day instead of Lexapro, just go from one to the other.

Too anxious with alittle klonopin. 40mg lexapro and 5 mg klonopin divided twice a day. .25mg twice a day

hi I have generalized anxiety and I’ve been on Lexapro for five weeks. I am feeling a little better but very anxious and need to talk to people that understand what I’m going through.

Lexapro made me sick. Does anyone take gabapentin for generalized anxiety disorder? or trintillex?

Don’t know why I’ve been on Lexapro for almost 5 weeks. I know it takes time. Just need to talk to somebody. That’s going through the same thing as me.

I started Lexapro 10mg, now have been upped to 20mg. Feeling a little better I guess, but would like to feel normal again soon!

Continuing taking Lexapro for complex PTSD, depression and anxiety. I've had 3 sessions with a therapist. Seems to be going well. It's still so surreal. I started Lexapro 45 days ago (6 weeks ago). Still it feels like I'm on a holiday vacation and at some point the bills come in.

Hi, I’ve been on Lexapro for 5 weeks now.. started on 5mg, moved to 10, 15, then 20mg. When I moved from 15 to 20, I developed a need to pee all of the time. I go and 5 mins later I have pressure in my bladder again. Anyone else experienced this and did it resolve?

my doctor wants to me try lexapro to help with my terrible anxiety which worsens my palpitations….anyone else on here taken lexapro or any other antidepressant that has helped them? If so what is your experience with them and recommendation?

But with Lexapro, I wear my armor. Since I'm on 10 mg do I need to tell my doctor that sometimes I'm still depressed or have anxiety, think people are against me. Or in time will this too get better. I'm one day into therapy.

Today is the 24th day on Lexapro for depression and anxiety. I take it at 4 am every day with my other meds. I do feel more calm, focussed, and more energetic. I'm getting more sleep. I actually got 8 hours last night. The norm now is 7.

How long did it take for you until you to start to feel an improvement on lexapro? What are your experiences with it (particularly grateful for positive stories)? I started taking it 15 days ago; started on 5 mg and have been taking 10 mg for 11 days. So far, I don't really feel anything.

Day 6 of Lexapro. Well, at least I slept through the night, even though I woke up early at 2 am. It's better than last night when I had no sleep at all. My sleep schedule is still off by two hours. I'll take it, though. I have a naucious feeling after taking the pill.

I received Lexapro as a med and a consultation to behavior health. I hope it's the right choice bc I want the depression and anxiety to end. I have cPTSD.

I think I need to start taking Lexapro.
