Can anyone recommend some free meditations for anxiety? There are so many that I don’t know where to start.

Hi 88cev88, my go to has always been YouTube to this day.

I found that I like to listen to the soft spoken slow speaking therapists.

In this way, I can put myself in a state of a relaxed mind in order to absorb

each suggestion told. I do at times also listen to informative subject matters

explaining the different issues with anxiety. The more we know exactly what we

are dealing with the better in allowing meditation to work better.

The videos for informational help I look to Dr Tracey Marks a Psychiatrist . She

addresses many different topics that you can choose and pick.

Also The Anxiety Guy (who was one of our own on this community) does an excellent

job of the same thing.

As for quieting the mind and body, I will continue with a list that I sometimes use. :) xx

So many choices but it depends what puts you in that state of the Present Moment while

you Breathe and relaxxxx :) xx

Hi 88cev88, I'm back once again in giving you some ideas as to what kind of meditation

I listen to each day. Of course this is just a suggestion as to what works for me. I actually

have trained myself to get lost in the words I hear. By using visualization, imagery, positive

mindset and breathing, I actually go into another space in time. I am fully capable in

transporting my mind and body to a deep inner peace and calm within hearing the first

few words. That's how well trained I've become. Whether I hear certain words on these

videos or tv, the results is the same. It's a cue for my body to take control of my emotions.

This comes only with daily practice over the years but is so well worth the end results.

Below are some of my favorite speakers. You'll notice a quiet gentle calming pattern of

talk. All of these are on YouTube

1. "Guided Mindfulness Meditation to Relax & be Calm"

by Mindful Peace

2. "Guided Meditation for Rresting with a Quiet Mind/Calm down Anxiety/Overthinking"

by Michael Sealey

3. Peaceful Mind, Peaceful Life, 10 Min Meditation to Relieve Stress"

by the Mindful Moment

4. "Guided Sleep Meditation for Inner Peace & a Calm Mind"

by Jason Stephenson

Anything that these 4 speakers create are calming and soothing to the mind.

You will eventually find your own calming videos that work for you.

Wishing you well.....Namaste my friend :) xx
