Cymbalta

I have used cymbalta for many years 60......90 and recently 120 mg...but I found them good to help with chronic pain to a degree I would think they give you an advantage to cope with chronic pain . I also found tylex helpful with pain relief.

pregabalin for peripheral neuropathy

Went from 60 to 30 mg duloxitine for a month (cymbalta). Having a lot of breakthrough pain, aches. My doc said go ahead and start pregabalin (lyrica) 25 am and 25 pm, and take 4 weeks to reduce cymbalta. Of course ( naughty me) I have been reading horror stories about pregabalin.

i have depression, suicidal ideation and I don't know what to do.

When I took my Cymbalta in the morning, it would immediately put me back to sleep and I'd wake up at 3pm. When I took Cymbalta in the morning I'd get a headache and my head wasn't straight. Slight drowsy.

Anyone have simliar symptoms when switching medications?

The plan was to taper off the cymbalta and increase the prozac. During this time, I felt like I was getting better to a point where I felt back to my normal self. I was taking the klonopin daily but then stopped as I didn’t feel I needed it daily.

Lyrica v Cymbalta

I have been hesitant about going on the meds suggested (Lyrica or Cymbalta) because of all of the side effects but think it may be time. Just wondering what other’s experiences have been? Thank you in advance ❤️❤️

Anxiety

Cymbalta daily and 50 mg. Seroquel at bedtime. I have been on this for 2 and 1/2 weeks. I take .5 Klonopin at bedtime for sleep. How long does this take to have full effect? I do not have anxiety attacks, but feel it below the surface and am sad.

Changing Depression Meds

I'm taking 120 mg/day Cymbalta and the highest dosage they make is 60 mg. Want to change to generic Zoloft, an SSRI. I'm afraid of the process but I NEED to change. Any advice?

Anxiety and depression

My doctor prescribed Cymbalta 60 mg and Fluvoxamine 100mg I was taking 50mg but he up the dosage which is giving me a lot of side effects. I hate getting up in the mornings. When I was in the Navy in 1972 I lost three fingers in my right hand I would trade my hand not to suffer from this illness.

Is my medicine making my symptoms worse?

After three years of cymbalta not working for me, I decided to switch medications, to which my doctor prescribed me lexapro. I started this lexapro roughly three weeks ago, and one thing I noticed was how easily triggered I am to get anxiety.

MEDICATION!!!!

My psychiatrist mentioned that Cymbalta could be an option for treating the pain as well as my other issues. I am always fearful of changing medications and was just wondering if any of you had any experience with this medication for depression and anxiety as well as the treatment of pain.

iron panel - almost normal?

Plus she went off Cymbalta, first she had like four days without RLS in a row, but then it returned, probably because her mental state is absolutely off - she wants to cry all the time, is upset and achy😔I noticed that 4 years ago her ferritin was 114, and then RLS was not at all that bad.

Information please on next treatment options

The pain management nurse just added Cymbalta also for pain. He's still mobile (limited) but uses a cane and tires easily. I'm looking for any suggestions and information. Thank you. Update-We saw the oncologist on Friday, Jan 13 when the above was discussed.

Excision surgery or hysterectomy?

I am taking Cymbalta for my nerve pain that is caused by tight muscles. I have Mirena, that does not help much. The doctor suggests to have a surgery to make sure that pain is caused by muscles and there is nothing bigger. I had MRI recently , no endo infiltration.
