Does lofepramine help ocd? Has anyone tried it?

I'm on clomipramine 20mg but I feel absolutely awful, high anxiety and agitation and crying spells and I have lost interest in most things I used to enjoy, it's helping my ocd but nothing else and the higher dose I go the worse I feel, I just feel dead inside. Iv tried most ssris and they all gave me worse anxiety and agitation I just don't know what to do anymore. I was thinking of asking for lofepramine I read online it can be used for ocd but has anyone any experience using it?

First time I've heard anyone mention Lofepramine, was starting to think I was the only one taking it, anyway not sure about ocd but I was prescribed them for depression and anxiety, I had them increased not long ago because of increased anxiety over health issues, I take three tablets in total (one in the morning two at night) they are 70mg each tablet, I checked my info leaflet that comes with them and it doesn't mention ocd only that they are an antidepressant, so it would be worthwhile checking with your GP and asking his/her advice.

Did you try lofepramine in the end for anxiety I've just been prescribed it for anxiety mainly constantly feel wired for no reason at all 😭 been five years now it's bloody awful x

I've been taking Lofepramine for a long time, approximately 16 years. I'm on 210mg all taken at night with 50mg quetiapine to help me sleep. I was on 280mg all taken at night at one point. I was given them for depression. I have OCD but I don't think this helps that.
