just started clomipramine again day 5 and having awful side effects….anyone else taken this and things improved? How long did it take? Feel like giving up on life 😭❤️

I went to see a psychiatrist today who suggested I take Clomipramine antidepressant as I am very depressed and sometimes suicidal. Has anybody else taken this. It says it interferes with levothyroxine. Thank you.

Hi everyoneDoes anyone know how much Clomipramine would equal 150mgs of Venlafaxine? Which of these drugs perform best if anyone has tried them for a while.

My daughter takes 150 mg of clomipramine, plus gabapentin, Vyvanse and now a small dose of Lexapro. But we're pretty sure the clomipramine is the culprit on side effects.

Psychologist gives me Clomipramine HCL Bp 100 mg and Bromazapam 3 mg. now i have dry mouth all time plus constipation. i told my psychologist that your medicine giving me this problem. but he said eat fruid fiber etc. but i m still have this problem. next appointment is after 15 days.

I also have tried Clomipramine, ketamine and, deep transcranial magnetic stimulation. These meds have barely touched my OCD and they all come with side effects to varying degrees. Has anyone found that they just don't get relief from conventional treatments?

Also the tricyclic Clomipramine did well. 3 of the top 4 places went to monoamine oxidase inhibitors. Unfortunately, MAOIs can often be some of the hardest antidepressants to get doctors to prescribe.

Is anyone else taking Clomipramine (Anafranil) to treat their OCD? Is it supposed to reduce obsessional thoughts? I know it is an older tricyclic antidepressant but what is it supposed to do for OCD? Is it better than Prozac?

12 years in clomipramine and pregabalin and still so drowsy, the only way out is decreasing the dose or cutting off...
