Vitamin B12 is a powerhouse. It helps make DNA, nerve and blood cells, and is crucial for a healthy brain and immune system. Your metabolism wouldn't run smoothly without it.
B12 is an essential vitamin only found in animal products. It is used for maintenance of lining around nerve cells, regulating neuro-transmitters that carry nerve signals through your body, regulating the production of healthy red blood cells, and releasing energy in your muscles.

Unless you are a vegan or eat next to no meat/dairy/fish/egg then the deficiency is indicative of an absorption problem and the standard treatment in the UK would be with injections.

So is good then for you ?
I don't use the product you mention - and doubt it would do much for me as I have an absorption problem and need very large amounts of B12 to function as a result.
Suggest you take a look at the PAS forum - linked above if you want to know more about B12
and also suggest that you talk more to your doctor about why they have recommended this product for you.
