i took a beta blocker i had rapid heart beat im saying really fast it calm me down had me relax but now its going really slow and i was just laying down felt shortness of breath and wierd sensation in my body like a rush and my heart did a spasm where my heart is i felt the spasm and felt like it just stoped i got up so fast right away it scared the hell of me i thought i was going to die just now and was about to call 911 i have a headache aswell crazy strong feeling now that has me really alert and awake i was trying to take a nap now i think my heart is gonna stop any sec plus its like im holding my breath with out knowing or having shortness of breath.

That's probably the medication trying to relax you but you are still on panic mode so that's why you got freaked out. Just lay down and relax

I know it's good to try to stay calm and relax. I can't imagine what you are going through when it comes to the fast heart beats but if you have any concerns I feel you should go to the Emergency room or schedule an appointment with a Dr. To express those concerns and be your own advocate. There isn't anything wrong with seeing a Dr. For reassurance.

Yeah have you ever been through it i fedl like i have a heart deaiese even though i saw cardiologist two months ago and told my my hesrt is fine just said that i have a little bit of arrythmia but not a dangerous one

No I have never been through it. The only time my heart beats hard is when I am having a panic attack. If they said you are fine then I'm sure they are correct but I know when I get worked up and something still doesn't seem right, I need to hear it again just to have a peace of mind.

It's natural to painc when noticing rapid drop in heart beat. Remember that resting rate is between 60 and 100. However when I takeytake beta blockers my rate records 54 and I was so chilled out.

Ohh they never told me when im going to get off they gave it to me in the ER and thats it they never told me i would continue taking it they told me to take it when i have rapidly heart beat arrythmia

I am prescribed 30mg which I take in the morning which appears when my heart is racing. I have diazipam 4mg to take if I have panic.
