It's been a while since i've been on this forum. and that's a good thing! over the past year i've really worked on getting my anxiety under control, and i feel pretty good. all you guys who are still struggling with anxiety, here are my tips:
- Meditate daily. start with 2 mins each day then go up gradually, you will be amazed how much it helps.
- build a strong support basis around you. family, friends etc.
- go and see a psychiatrist. you might need meds to help you get it under control, or all you may need may be some psychotherapy.
- get rid of any addictions/bad habits you have. this includes binging on tv shows, pornography, facebook, twitter...whatever. If you have a bad habit/addiction, get off that first because your anxiety will not be corrected unless you address these first

P.S. Medications i am currently on: 20mg fluoxetine daily, xanax .25mg taken when required (very rarely taken, but gives me confidence when i know it is there)
