I really need some hope. I had my first panic attack in April 2014. I haven't had a panic attack since last summer and I'm back on track. However, since that first panic attack I've been stuck in this dream like state 24/7 for over a year! I am so afraid I will be this way the rest of my life, even though my therapist assures me it's temporary. It's hard too see the light when you're in the darkness. Reassuring words would be so helpful. I am now 17 and going into my senior year of high school and don't want to feel this way all next year I read forums and see people who have had it for YEARS... Scares the you know what out of me.

Fear maintains it any kind, once you accept it and live your life it will gradually fade, i have mostly lingering sensations left but i would say i am 85% recovered and i achieved this only in a couple of weeks, if you have any questions feel free to pm me
