Can colds enhance symptoms?

I'm fighting off a cold and it's like I can't remember what it's like to have a cold! I'm like, what is this? Is this normal?

Like seriously! Is this frequent in anxiety where normal things seem....like super bad?

When I get a cold or any kind of illness my anxiety increases... my doctor told me that can happen... I hate it. I don't like being physically ill but add the symptoms of extreme anxiety and/or depression and that's a real nightmare to heal from. I hope you feel better SOON.

I mean it's not like fever cold. I'm taking everything I can. I'm determined to not let this get worse!

When i had a cold back in November, I panicked over the same thing. Mainly for me, it was the fear of not being able to breathe. It is normal if you have health anxiety, to have worse anxiety when sick. You're facing a fear. You will be just fine dear. Everyone goes through it! Just keep pushing the fluids, especially water. It will run its course.
