For the last few days I've had this weird feeling in my right arm...from the tips of my fingers right up to my shoulder, I've tried explaining to my mum what it feels like but it's hard..so I will give it a go.
It's like my arm isn't there and it's cold to touch, like my brain is processing my arm is there and it feels light to hold up in the air...almost as if there is no blood circulating in it something like that.
Has anyone ever had anything like that or even know what I'm on about cause I don't think I've explained it very well
Have you done anything that might have injured your arm? Trapped a nerve for example? I can do that just by sleeping!!! Once you've eliminated any physical cause I'm afraid it'll be our old friend anxiety again. It causes havoc with our nerves and makes you feel all kinds of weird things which our hypervigilant minds latch onto and magnify.
Get it checked if you're worrying but then practise your breathing and don't let yourself dwell on it and it should settle down.
Hi, I get a strange feeling down my right arm & sometimes it tingles. Dr said it's due to hyperventilation because of my anxiety it's when there's to much oxygen in the blood. Good luck. Take care.
Hi Ashley
I have had strange sensations in my arm , hands , well you name it & I have had it & have to agree it more than lightly will be what cherub was told as I have been told that before to
Has it just started happening & how often ?
If it is now & again I would try & ignore it & see it as another anxiety symptom , if it keeps happening & you want peace of mind then you could ask the GP to give you reassurance
Hope you have a good day
Love

If it's something you wake up with, could be you've held it in a funny position whilst sleeping and cut off circulation. It can also happen if you've been resting your elbow in a funny way. If it happens again, try to remember what you were doing before it and how you're arm was positioned. Hope you feel better soon. Xx
