Chest pain....rib hurts to touch

Holy moly I was getting over my cold and this happens. I get pains in chest, it's like a stinging pain and when I touched my ribs and the breast bone it's sore to touch. I am thinking muscle pain no heart issue but it's scary. Is this normal?

Do you suffer with Health Anxiety

I no I do even & every ache ,pain when I have a cold I worry & then its getting my mind to recognize which is something to worry about & which is my Health Anxiety

I am not a doctor but if you have had a cold , not sure if you have been coughing if you have you could have pulled a muscle , could be cold in your insides , could be indigestion !

I no we can get aches & pains all over & it can be quite frightening , I would see how it goes it should pass & if you still have it you could always see your GP

Hi love I have ha as well,u know if so and so has a headache ,then iv got a brain tumour ha ha,at the mo I'm a bit breathless jus t wondering if it's the xtrs dose of zantac iv had to take ,on doctors orders ,my Brest bone is allways sore but I think it's my hiatus hernia doc says ,is ther a walk in centre. U could go to over the weekend,to put ur mind at rest?

Hi Cardiff.

You could have an infection of the cartilage in between the ribs and round the breast bone I have had this and was given Votarol gel to use and it worked.

We don't have walk in places. I am using deep heat and it works. Like I said when I touch my breast bone, it's sore as hell so maybe it's that
