Had a health scare in the post.

I opened a letter from my gp practice this morning, & it said that I was being offered vitamin D & calcium supplements having been diagnosed with osteoporosis. This really shocked me because I had no idea that I`d had such a diagnosis, so I went to the health centre & was lucky enough to get seen this afternoon. The doctor I saw said he didn`t know why I`d been sent the letter because they had no idea if I had any bone problems or not. I asked him to refer me for a bone scan, & he did. I`m just relieved that it`s been sorted out for the time being. All I have to do now is have the scan, & wait for the results

Thank you for your support. I`m praying that my scan comes back ok, because I`m already learning how to deal with thyroid issues, I really don`t need another health problem right now!

Gosh how scary for you although some Doctors can make mistakes.

Lets hope the scan appointment is soon to stop the anxiety of waiting.
