Paroxetine CR feelings

Hello all wonderful people,

It’s been 23 days since I started taking paroxetine CR 37.5 mg. How much more longer will it take for it to work for depression. I feel like it is doing its job because I feel a lot of pressure in the head. I guess this is how to work. I also get a lot of anxiety because of the feelings I get while taking this medicine.

Has anyone felt something similar while taking antidepressant and how long will such symptoms last before it starts working hundred percent please advise

I’m fighting this disease by myself. I have no one to talk to who can understand my feelings.

Hi Jkse,I am glad that you are working with a doctor on your depression.

Most antidepressants take 4-6 weeks for the full benefits to kick in.

It's important to keep in contact with your doctor about the pressure in your head, whether it's a side effect of the medication or stress related.

You are brave in taking depression on by yourself (and the doctor), so you should be congratulated for that.

Thank you very much for your support. Yes it is very hard to deal with it everyday but some people are just punished for whatever reason may be. I accept that punishment given by god. All i can do is pray to god that please forgive me and help me.
