Fluoxetine and Anger?

hello I recently started Fluoxetine a few days ago 20mg and I’m feeling pretty angry. I don’t know if it’s just a coincidence or if it’s related to the medication. Can Fluoxetine cause problems with anger? I don’t have any side effects thus far since taking it apart from feeling more angry then usual.

No problem. I had a bunch of issues with that Med. Many people take it and it works fabulous

Crazy sweats, tremors, twitching, insomnia worse than usual, nausea

Prob more but it was a couple years ago

I think it made things worse tbh. Just not the drug of choice for me. I think because my reaction was so strong I say call

Prozac works for me. But like has been said, everyone is different. And you should ask your doctor.

anger and irritation have always been a problem with me....I've been on Prozac for about 2.5 years.....anger is not worse than normal from meds.....it's more for dealing with the idiosyncrisies of the world. hang in there
