Hello there… I am new here online. I’m seeking help and support for some anxiety and depression that I’m trying to manage. I am

In my 60s married w three grown kids. I I recently retired and moved to a new area so a lot of changes. I don’t have much support in life..my parents died when I was young, my sister died last year who was my best friend… So trying to move forward. I just feel too lonely sometimes and I feel very anxious at night especially.

Hi and welcome here! My condolences on the loss of your sister last year. I lost my mom last August. She was my anchor and I feel lost without her.Kudos on trying to move forward! That's all any one of us can ever do.

Have you thought about trying to find a group that shares your interests? When my dad retired, he found a hiking group since he likes to hike. When mom retired, she satisfied her goal of learning how to knit and joined several knitting groups.

No worries! I’ve been having bad anxiety the last two days and I’m waiting for it to pass. This is the third time in three months that it’s flared up and consumed my life. I’m trying to carry on doing things but sometimes I just want to sleep it off
