In reference to the above, what fuels your happiness and what is your " Happy Place ".I recently discovered my Happy Place at a Hotel based in Turkey , having said this I have been visiting Turkey since 2010, but this place remains a memorable in terms of being Happy for a week.
Can anyone relate and explain what fuels their happiness?

I was hoping to sell my rental flat this year and buy a home with a garden, however as my Mother is coming over for her cataract, I have decided to monitor my health and try to reduce stress as this seems to be causing some symptoms.
It would seem stress is causing some post menopausal symtoms and being near nature really is a dream come true for many. I expect you have waited many years to attain your dream home and it was worth the wait.Everything in its own time
But an interesting post I put up to understand what makes house a home and how this bring comfort and real happiness .
I think I hade finally seen how overshadowed I have been by both of my parents and each one of us is entitled to find happiness.
As I have said , I will be visiting my Mother in a few days but deep down I now know how much she can trigger my anxiety and now I know better , hopefully I will be able to deal with this better .
I have many happy places; but if I had to choose one, it would be Cornwall; a place I have known since I was 5. I know it like the back of my hand, even though I haven't been there for about 20 years now.
There was a sea lock where a canal used to be, and a small river, a outdoor seawater swimming pool, Golf course, surfboard hire, some gorgeous beaches with rockpools which I enjoyed scrambling over and catching fish in. A riding school where I used to hack out.
A good range of shops and a cinema which has now closed, lovely walks over the cliffs. At one time it had a railway hub, and I loved listening to the shunting engines first thing in the mornings, but, that too is now gone. Another place was a cove in a valley where there was a big flood 20 years ago.
A short drive along the coast there was a ruined castle on a promontery. and still further down the coast was a major town for Surfing.
