Akathesia

I am experiencing akathesia. The godawful internal shakiness and mind spin. Needless to say, this is amping up all anxiety issues I have plus panic attacks.

Back in 1988, I developed akathesia from taking Prozac. My heart goes out to you if you have it, too. I literally could not sit still. I got not no sleep at all for a week straight, until I called the doctor and begged him to put me on something else. It was like being tortured 24/7 for a week.

I truly sympathize with your suffering. I'll keep you in my prayers.

Hey <3 I feel for you here. Do you by any chance get restless legs?

Are you on meds that would cause this? I have been and i know it's torture.

Thank you. No I don't get restless legs. My daughter has it though and she says it's horrible. I'm sorry if you have it. I thinks she takes trazodone for it. Yes this is basically from being prescribed thorizine for bipolar disorder. Inweaned down from 100 mgs to 50mg over a week and then I stopped taking it all together. This is my 5th day off it. The Webb said it takes 4 to 6 days to get it out of your system.

I hope you find something for restless leg syndrome.
