Hi, welcome 🙂

Deepest condolences on your recent bereavement

🙂 Many of us could do with a nudge in the right direction re the subjects you mention... I would like to lose weight for a start, I found after menopause particularly frustrating..

🤔 It could be worth googling local support groups..re weight loss or exercise...face to face meetings can be so supportive and it’s a way to make friends

Don’t do anything ‘cold turkey’..ease yourself into exercise or weight loss to avoid potential problems. If you have any health problems, it could be a good idea to ask your GP for a basic checkup first.

🤔 Re Alcohol ..it really depends on how excessive the drinking is..Obviously cutting down is a good start.

Best wishes 🙂

Hi, I am in a similar situation to you. Am glad to encourage you and mentor you if you do the same for me. I dont drink but I do eat too much, sometimes of fatty and salty junk foods it would be better to avoid - I love biscuits, pork pie, sausage rolls, sandwiches and mayonnaise. I dont smoke. I am disabled and stuck at home and it is hard for me to get out and do normal things, cannot walk far etc, so need to exercise at home. Encouraging me to exercise regularly would be much appreciated. But I can at the moment only do about ten minutes at a time and then am worn out and need a rest and then again and so on. Would be happy to help you cut down and increase your things in return if interested.
