Hi All,
it's been awhile as I have been doing many tests due to a bad blood test. However, now it seems my test may have been a fluke. Iron results were in a high/alert level and couldn't get in to see a hematologist. Retested and all seems back to normal. However, been having major gut issues so did the gut zoomer test and my test results have a load of poor results. Not surprising. When eating, I automcatically bloat and able to see a small bulge above my belly button. I don't think it's a hernia. Digestion is very slow and gut tests look like leaky gut, SIBO etc. bloat after eating, constipation. However my question today is for an appt I have.
In Feb., dr wanted me to reduce to 100 tirosint but bc with my nutty blood tests, I didn't want to do it because I felt my gut absortion was off. Also, I typically take my meds Sun am and take test on Monday am. This time, I took my meds Sunday night becauseI think I have been doing it incorrectly.
- I take 112 of tirosint, 12.5 of lio, Gluten free/dairy free, take .10 of testosterone ethanate 1x per week, take vit D, K2, Omega 3, magnesium and B12. Not sure if it's doing much. I tend to retain water, and get oily skin. Not sure if worth it. I weight train 3x per week and average about 14-20 miles per week walking. Haven't lost a lb since doing all the exercise. Viseral fat. I'm wondering if I should go all carnivore as everything seems to bother my gut however with gut biome off, maybe dr will help me with proper enzymes etc. (its a functional dr - no antibiotics)
Hoping I may get some help.
TSH - .011 was <.01 on 2/3 = (-10.84%)
Free T4 - 4.3 was 2.9 on 2/3 = 55.79%
Free T4 - 1.35 was 1.3 on 1.3 on 2/3= 95.83%
Thyroid peroxidase TPO - 204, up from 163
Thyroglobulin antibody - <1.0 (range is .0-.9) This has stayed consistent for about a year. Do I need this measurement?
Vit D is 86.0 (has gone done from 89 and 96.6 from test prior) with range of 30-100. I had reduced dosage but may up it to get to 100. From reading, top end is best?
B12 - 948 from 1215 (range 232-1245). I had been taking b complex but wasn't consistent so it went down a bit.
QUESTIONS:
Does it seem I should make any adjustments to meds?
Did I take the test correctly? (timing)
And my blood test results have several categories so they don't always line up each test. For example, I have TSH, Thyroxine (T4), Triodothyronine (Free T3), Reverse T3 serum (do I need this?), Thyroid peroxidase TPO, thyroglobulin antibody. Should I just use the TSH, Free T#, and Free T4. That's what I use on the thyroid test calculator?
