Blood pressure issues are not always caused by thyroid levels. I think if they knew the causes and could treat them we would be a lot healthier longer living people.
Would be a good idea to get vitamins tested if they haven't be done for a while. Many people need to take B12 and or folate and you dont mention that you're taking a B complex.
Your FT4 is very low but you haven't said what treatment you are on.
I also take 5mg Prednisolone, and 10mg HC spaced out over 3 times a day. 5mg in the morning on waking, 2.5mg around 4-5pm ish and another 2.5mg at bedtime, around 10pm.
sorry this isn’t fully relevant to your post but are you taking HC/pred for adrenals?
Your cortisol is on the low side on your bloods and mine was similiar but i have managed this far with adrenal cortex but suspecting I might need stronger. How are you finding it? X
Yes, im in them for my adrenals. I'm a little more stable now than I was when I was in only HC but I've noticed that since I was ill at Christmas, I'm all over the place again.
hey 😊 Was your blood pressure high before the steroids?
Not that I'm aware, not at a replacement dose that is prescribed for those with adrenal insufficiency, that is usually why those with primary AI are prescribed fludricortisone, to keep their BP up.
