Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA)

Can anyone advise how I can get the DHEA dissolve in the mouth tablets.

I am considering taking DHEA if my current ivf cycle is not successful.I have extremely low amh/non existant and I have read that you shouldn't take DHEA if you have endo?Has anyone taken it that has endo?x

HiI am in Norfolk/Suffolk and been prescribed DHEA by my fertility clinic. Issue is it's like hens teeth to find and need to get it ASAP. The clinic will dispense but I'm not going to London any time soon. Has anyone up this way been able to get DHEA?

At the start of August my clinic advised me to start DHEA 25mg 3 times a day. Testosterone was 0.4nmol. I've taken it for a month now and got my bloods tested at GP and they're concerned because it's shot up to 2.8nmol and is now too high.

I've been taking COQ10, proceive sachets, vitamins the works, but research suggests taking DHEA. Has anyone tried this to improve numbers of eggs and quality? Did you get a blood test to check if levels were low? Any advice greatly appreciated as 3rd cycle is coming up shortly.

hi everyone I have recently tested for my DHEA and testosterone levels and they have come back as normal. Has anyone taken DHEA with normal testosterone n DHEA-s levels. Pls let me know. Thank you.

Seeing the saliva DHEA was low, saliva cortisol high but blood cortisol low, I added 25mcg DHEA hoping it would help regulate the cortisol ( thanks TiggerMe).

I want to try DHEA again, but before I do that I want to know from your experience if my levels require me to take it. I didn't consult my doctor on the matter

Hi everyone, I was wondering if its okay taking both DHEA 50mg a day and DHA from fish oil the same time to improve egg quality. I am 40 and will be 41 in 3 months

This has helped lower homocysteine however his DHEA sulfate is also very low 32 ug/dl and remains low. I was wondering what else i could test or supplement. I read about exogenous dhea supplements and msm to improve sulfation but couldnt find much else . Any help appreciated

I wasn't sure whether the DHEA was the cause because I had read it could lower cortisol, but I think the zinc might also be part of the problem since I read it could also lower cortisol in a much more potent way than DHEA. I tried DHEA last week for 3 days and it definitely has a negative impact.

I have just done the Geneva Diagnostics saliva/DHEA test but was told it will take several weeks to get results, plus with Christmas I think it will be longer.

Acne started when using DHEA so I stopped it and the dry scalp might be the change of season. Acne, dandruff and weight gain really hammering my confidence right now!

My results after the armour: TSH: 0.025 (0.27-4.2) T3 4.9 (3.1-6.8) T4 10.4 (12-22) I stopped all thyroid and introduced folate supp, DHEA 15mg and 1x adrenavive II on 12/8/24.

Has anyone had their testosterone tested before starting DHEA? My GP kindly tested mine and it's 0.4nmol/l. The lovely Google tells me this is low for fertility so I would probably benefit from DHEA after all. I was concerned about taking too much on the 75mg dose.

I have read a lot about DHEA but my clinic is not in favour of this and insists on donor eggs but I feel I want to give one last shot. Does anyone know when to test DHEA and total testosterone? Did it benefit you? Has anyone tried ovarian rejuvenation.

I’ve been taking adrenal cortex, hydrocortisone, DHEA, liquorice extract. Plus tried various other things to clear toxic metals, help low stomach acid plus glycin to calm the nerves to help sleep. I have recently stopped the hydrocortisone as I have put weight on.

In the post review letter it says “DHEA was suggested although we are unsure of its benefits.” What are peoples thoughts? After lots of research it seems very hit and miss. Also if I were to take them can anyone PM with good brands please? Thanks in advance!
